Trip details:
We will put on a 3 day young men's conference and a teen girl conference. The team will go out into the village and do street evangelism, go with the ladies of the church to do laundry, take food, diapers and pray with those who need help. Work with the school children either with VBS activities or ESL and Bible lessons if they are in school. Visit orphanage and do mini VBS. AWANA training and working with the AWANA kids.

Tristan is accompanying his Uncle Heath on a Mission trip to Haiti this coming spring (March 16-23rd). As many of you know, Tristan recently graduated high school, and plans to follow his father John Denman into the United States Navy and serve his Country as a Naval Corpsman. But, before he embarks on that next life adventure and ships off to boot camp, he has decided to humble himself and pursue a more philanthropic endeavor by ministering to those who, through no fault of their own, are in need of assistance with things as basic as access to drinkable water and sufficient food to eat. Haiti is still in recovery from the devastating earthquake of 2010, and more recently, Hurricane Matthew. It is estimated that 60,000 Haitians continue to be displaced at this time, including thousands of orphans.

John and I are incredibly proud of Tristan's decision to do his part, and we also know that few things made Michael Kinslow (Tristan's late Stepfather) more proud than being able to help the "least of these" within society, and Tristan feels this trip will honor Michael's memory.

If there is any way any of you are able to donate to this humanitarian endeavor (no amount is too small), we would all be incredibly appreciative. Tristan needs to raise a little over $2,000 - which includes his roundtrip airfare, food, lodging at the church's secure compound, as well as a security team for the duration of the trip.
