JOIN JESUS IN UNEXPECTED PLACES

The Unexpected Places Campaign is dedicated to seeing Jesus encountered in unexpected places everywhere.

I have the joy of working for Embassy, which is a ministry of e3 Partners. Tens of thousands of Muslims go online to practice conversational English. We want to ensure that each one of them is contacted by at least one Christ-follower who is able to share the gospel of Jesus clearly, speaking words of life.

In Matthew 13, Jesus told this short parable:

"“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field."

The people we talk to who live in countries closed to the gospel are not looking for a treasure when they try to find an English-language partner. Like the man in the parable, they're simply trying to prepare for work. But we want to use this opportunity to give them the greatest treasure we have: the message of Jesus Christ which has the power to redeem, reconcile, restore, and save.

Christ's love compels us to share the message of Jesus -- reconciliation with God that is through grace! -- with Muslims.

In that same chapter, Jesus also spoke these words:

"“The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

In closed nations, there is no movement like the movement from within! By sharing the gospel with those who speak English and by providing discipleship, we are equipping them to reach their own people in their own first language. This is not our dream, but God's dream for mankind. We are simply trying to be faithful to our role in it.

THE MOVEMENT

We aim to see Jesus lifted up in Unexpected Places. e3 Partner’s pioneering church planting work is built on multiplication principles. People’s lives are touched, then transformed, and they in turn pour into others. All in the context of groups of believers who worship and work together as churches to spread God’s movement. We are impacting lives all around the world!
