Dear Family and Friends,

Since the first of this year, Mary and I have been taking a yearlong Discipleship Class at Crossbridge Community Church which has been life changing. We have been exposed to things about ourselves we were not prepared for, but which have been necessary for our continued growth and equipping for ministry.

From July 5 to July 16, we will be going to Uganda to put into practice what we have been learning. We will be ministering in the Golu region sharing God’s story and showing God’s love to the people of Uganda. The hope is that God will draw new converts who will be discipled and encouraged to go and start new works themselves.   My understanding is that Uganda is not like America with a church seemingly on every corner. But simple works that mostly meet in home churches like the book of Acts.

The cost for Mary and me to go is $7,700. This amount includes all transportation to and within country, lodging and meals, ministry and training materials and some transportation and meals for church members and/or interpreters who would not otherwise be able to participate.
