Pacific Union College is organizing a mission trip to Kenya during spring break, March 24 to April 4. We will provide donated laptop computers and projectors for the Maasai teachers of a girls’ secondary school and train the teachers how to use them. We also expect to assist with health care in a clinic and assist with the construction and painting of school buildings. We will stay in a resort at Mara West Camp and spend five days engaged in mission work and two days on safari exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve, where we will see the iconic wildlife of Africa. Optional academic credit is available in biology and nursing and co-curriculum credit in service learning.
