Water Well for Karangazi

Hi friends,

We have decided to partner with Africa New Life to help build a water well in a community in Rwanda called Karangazi.

Strategy for Water Wells:

Wells are typically drilled on or near property Africa New Life owns and has a church. If the location of the well is not on ANLM land, water is pumped to the tap stand near the church. The church will oversee the well and tap stand, charging a nominal amount to cover the salary of the attendant(s) and maintenance for the well; any surplus goes to support the church.

There are many key cost estimates that go into building a well:

Drilling new boreholes
Supplies of construction for a new control house
Construction of a tap stand
Supply of 10,000 liter water tank
Transport
Construction of water tank stand
Electrical accessories
Plumbing accessories
Construction of trench excavation
And many more!
