Dear Family and Friends,
Recently, a challenging and exciting
opportunity was presented to me, and I’d like to share it with you. I am
currently in the first few quarters of the Communication Sciences and
Disorders, Master’s program at Loma Linda University. Every summer, for the
past 7 years, this program has traveled to China on a mission trip. This year,
I have been offered the opportunity to travel to Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China from
August 27-September 11. I will be traveling with 7 other class members and 3
faculty members.
This summer, our team of student clinicians and
Speech-Language Pathologist, will provide
training/educational workshops to ZUCH staff, as well as other clinicians and
teachers from special education schools. We will also offer consultations and collaborate
with clients that are seen at ZUCH. In addition, we aim to work with the staff at ZUCH who are interested in
accent modification services. Another goal our team plans to provide is, parent
education courses regarding speech and language development. Finally, plan visit a Special Education School for Autism to educate/train/mentor the staff and parents there. There are
many missions we desire to complete in a short time period, but I am willing
and excited to take the challenge God has offered me! To further visualize and grasp what an incredible impact this trip has been to students, attached is a video from a previous mission trip to China.

of the trip’s cost. The entire cost of the trip is $2,000/ person. If you would
like to partner with me as I prepare to go to China, you can donate on this site. All contributions are
tax deductible. But most importantly, I ask that you pray for me and my team
before and during our trip!
