LLU School of Nursing Botswana SUMMER 2019
Each summer, students from LLU's School of Nursing travel to Botswana as part of their Public Health Nursing (PHN) course. The PHN course focuses on the optimal wellness of the client community in partnership with local nursing staff serving the community often in Primary Health Centers.
Nursing students who have participated in this international experience have found it life-changing, eye-opening, and an inspiration for themselves and people with whom they have shaped their experience. You can be a part of this life-changing experience for students by making a donation today!
Hello family and
friends,
This upcoming summer from
June 15th to July 15th, a group of my fellow nursing
students and I will embark on this month-long trip to Botswana, Africa!
There, we’ll be providing medical services through the Kanye Seventh Day
Adventist Hospital. The images above are actual pictures my friend took when she went to Botswana this previous summer. This opportunity would not only tremendously help my growth
in the professional field of nursing but also help me grow personally,
spiritually and culturally.
This once-in-a-lifetime
experience would not be possible without you! Any donation made will be a huge
help. I sincerely thank you and appreciate it very much! If you like, I would love for you
to come along with me in this journey through social media. I will do my very
best to keep you updated on the experiences that you made possible to happen
throughout that month! Thank you and God bless you!
