Hey guys! Zhida here. I recently learned of a mission opportunity to spread the gospel in Barranquilla, Colombia. After a lot of prayer and wrestling, I believe this is a step that God is calling me to take. I would be honored if you partnered with me through your prayer, giving, or both during this journey. I don't believe I am anyone special - I am simply aiming to be faithful to God's call to make disciples of all nations.
Each day, I will work with several local believers, including a translator, and go throughout the community, praying for and sharing Christ with those we meet. We will begin the discipleship process with as many new believers as we can, and our local partners are committed to following up with those who make professions of faith and establishing new churches in those areas. One of the keys that drew me to this mission was the fact that the goal is to support long-term growth of the local churches, rather than short-term ministry that doesn't grow deep roots.
The goal is to raise $2900 by October. This covers plane tickets, housing, food, translators, and also helps support the local church efforts. Fundraising is unfamiliar territory for me, but I am happy to answer any questions ya'll may have about this effort. Feel free to text or DM me!

Once dubbed the “Golden Gate of the Republic”, Barranquilla is the largest city along Colombia’s Caribbean coastline. They say the biggest danger in traveling to Colombia is that you’ll never want to leave. Between its vast mountain ranges and sprawling coastlines, the country's picturesque scenes will capture your heart. But among the 46 million people living in Colombia, many have never heard the story of Jesus or experienced his grace firsthand.
We have been working in the region of Barranquilla for a number of years with good success. The e3 Colombia Mentor Network is developing its vision and tools for starting, strengthening, and establishing new churches. Barranquilla, the home city of our national director, has been a flagship dimension of our ministry. Our participation as North Americans in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting expeditions are a powerful encouragement and motivation for our Colombian partners. This trip also includes a medical component, which means a team of medical personnel share the love of Christ in several of the church planting communities by meeting basic medical needs.
