We have one more day to go on our Pure Charity Fundraiser. We have been very blessed by those who have chosen to give to help bring our daughter Lucy home from Albania. Those monies will be put to good use as one of our country fees and our dossing shipping fee is now due, totaling $5,900.  Thank you all so much for your generosity and for blessing our family.

Our dossier was completed over two weeks ago and sent to Albania after all the necessary trips to the notary, county clerk and the Secretary of State for authentication.  Our understanding is that the documents are currently being translated and after translation will be sent to the Albanian Adoption Committee for approval. It is really beginning to look like we will travel some time this summer.

Somewhere in a large city in central Albania, there is a large white block building with a large green gate. Our hearts are locked away behind that gate. Lucy lives in that building. Tomorrow and all this week, something special is happening that will help us get much closer to bringing Lucy home. Stay tuned.....

Our neighborhood is having its annual spring community yard sale this Saturday if you are local. Rob and I are participating in the yard sale and all proceeds from the sale at our home goes toward bringing Lucy home. We are still in need of more donations for the yard sale so if you have some used items that you would like to part with please contact us. Also, please come shop the sale!

Our home study is complete, our immigration paperwork has been sent to USCIS, and we are feverishly working on our dossier.  We are hoping to have our dossier in the hands of the Albanian Adoption Committee by sometime in April.
