Good Morning Friends & Supporters, 

Yesterday Madalyn and I were scheduled to fly to Haiti to embark on this amazing adventure, but protests in the area and roadblocks have prevented our travels. Our flights have been cancelled as we would not have had safe passage from the Port au Prince airport to the village of Williamson where we are staying. We are bummed that we are unable to travel at this time and I wanted to give you, our supporters on this mission, this update.

 A simple google search on recent Haiti news will provide more information on the current protests in Haiti. In a nutshell,

Haiti's capital has been brought to a standstill by protesters calling for the resignation of the country's president, Jovenel Moïse after allegations of corruption and misappropriation of funds. 

We are looking to reschedule our trip for sometime this summer when the political atmosphere is more calm. I will keep you posted via this site as we know more.
