Support Mimo's Adoption Fund
Mimo was abandoned as a baby in July 2011. She came to Kidmia's Child Transition Center a year later. Now, she's recovering from a minor issue with her ear, but once treatment is completed in March, she'll be ready to go home to her forever family.
Mimo's Adoption

Why Adoption?
In a country with 5 million orphans, we believe empowering Ethiopian families MUST be part of the solution. A few hundred couples attended Kidmia's adoption conference last fall.
Kidmia is dedicated to partnering with families, communities and local churches to teach God’s perspective of adoption, dispel any misconceptions about adoption and find permanent gospel-loving homes for the orphans in our care so that their stay with us is as short as possible…after all, there’s a reason we call it a “Transition Center.”

A Donation to Kidmia Helps Fund an Adoption
Mimo is waiting for her forever family. A $250 grant from Kidmia will help an Ethiopian family bring her home.
• In 2012, Kidmia placed 10 children for adoption with Ethiopian families. • In 2013, we want to find loving, Ethiopian homes for even more orphaned children. • The number of interested families continues to grow, but the process is lengthy.
Ethiopian families who adopt from Kidmia are eligible for a $250 adoption grant to help cover the cost of their adoption. The couple will pay for their own background checks, the child’s medical exam and any travel costs for court appointments. But the adoption itself is covered through the $250 grant—a relief to many families who are considering adding another child to their family.
Your support for this project gives Mimo a forever home.
