The Story:

When we give the key to a home, you can see the tears well-up in the eyes of these families. Most families assumed they would never have access to a home again. We love seeing these families move their belongings from a tent to a home. It's beautiful, it's redemptive, it's justice.

Our Impact:

• Direct Family Impact: When we build a home, the average family of 4 goes from "tent to house" in a matter of weeks! Those lives are forever changed by a place to call "Home".

• Community Impact: We employ up to 15 Haitians per project, the money earned is taken back to their families to buy food, clothes, school supplies, and other necessities.

• Economic Impact: Supplies are 100% Haitian- everything used to build the home is made, sold, transported, and constructed in Haiti. These vendors take their earnings back to their families, also buying the needed food, clothing, school supplies, and other necessities.

• Cultural Impact: New residents of our homes often use their land to better the community. Whether they keep rabbits, grow a garden/farm, raise cattle or sheep, or watch over kids, they use their new home to give back to the people around them.

• Overall Impact: Each growing community fights against the devastation of extreme poverty, and each home reinforces it's community with love, caring, and togetherness. And it's Haitians that are working together to make their home into something spectacular again.
