Just a short update:

We have 22 people who are going on this mission trip to Kenya. There are 4 from my church, one from across town, and the rest are from a church in Los Angeles. Because of the distance, we are meeting on-line as a team. We have started to learn about the area we will be visiting. It is on the southern coast of Kenya. Most who are on the team are seasoned short-term missionaries. I am the newbie. We will continue with a series of trainings which are meant to prepare us in every way.
