OFFICES

The Sole Hope Offices will create work space for our administrative personnel, medical, social workers, accountants, and volunteers. Many plans for the future of Sole Hope will happen in these offices!  Having a place for our Social Workers to work side by side will be extremely beneficial in helping to create a steady work flow and plan for the children that Sole Hope serves every day.  



Having the people who work in these offices available to all of the other Sole Hope Employees that work on the compound will also be helpful.  Overall, we expect these offices to create a safe place for our Ugandan Employees to dream, share, and express together!

EDUCATION ROOM

Education is KEY in the fight against jiggers. There are many misconceptions around what causes jiggers, how to get rid of them, and how to stay jigger-free.

Many believe jiggers are the result of witchcraft, sin, or a curse and it drives most to be ashamed of the parasite; hiding their condition and damaging their bodies while continuing to host and spread jigger eggs in the communities they live.

The education room will be a place where the patients staying at the Outreach House will spend several hours every day. 
They will learn:

• Hygiene
• What causes jiggers
• What does NOT cause jiggers (dispelling myths)
• How to prevent jiggers and other foot disease
• General school subjects (if they are missing school or simply want to learn)
• English
• Vacation Bible School style Bible education

Here’s how you can help Build Hope:

1) Buy five bricks for $5.  Or two.  Or 6. Or a Bundle for $250.  This is a huge undertaking, but we can do it together--brick by brick.   

2) Tell your friends.  Tweet, post, email, shout really loud . . . we need everyone to share our affiliate link.   

3) Shop.  No, really.  The catch is that you have to do it through the Pure Charity website's online partners (like GAP, Target, J. Crew & Apple).  They will donate a percentage to your Online Giving Fund which then you pass on to this project.
