In 2023, gang violence forced Pastor Martin and his wife to flee from their home in Port-au-Prince. God led them to Bail-Savanette, where they started a thriving church.

The community of Bail-Savanette is one of the poorest they had ever encountered in Haiti. Many children there have never attended school. Others walk miles to school but cannot afford tuition or basic supplies. The community started praying for a school for their children.
