Adyoci Jovia was admitted into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Jovia is the second born in a family of two children and is a total orphan, having lost both of her parents to HIV/AIDS. After the loss of her parents, she remained under the care of her aunt, who is a widow. However, the aunt faces considerable economic hardship and has been struggling to adequately meet the children's basic needs. Due to these circumstances and the vulnerability of the household, the assessment recommended Jovia's placement in the village so that she can access consistent care, education, and a more supportive living environment.
