Akello Leah was born in 2011. She joined the Path International Community Based Care (CBC) program in 2020.

Akello Leah is from a rural village in Northern Uganda. Leah lives with her mother and 3 siblings. Leah works very hard at school and says that English is her favorite subject. She is a little shy, but she loves playing jump rope with her friends. Leah would like to be a nurse when she grows up. The family also receives care, encouragement, training opportunities, emergency assistance, medical access, and the knowledge that they are no longer alone.
