Alaba Edna was accepted into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Edna comes from a family of four children, each with different fathers, as her mother is mentally unsound and unable to provide stable care. Due to her mother's condition, she is unable to meet the children's basic needs or provide essential guidance and support. Recognizing Edna's vulnerability and the lack of a safe and nurturing environment at home, the assessment team recommended her placement in the residential program to ensure access to proper care, education, and a stable living environment.
