Amuri Silus was brought into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Silus's parents are separated, and he was left in the care of his grandmother, who is poor and struggling to meet his basic needs. Despite these challenges, Silus has shown a keen interest in soccer and enjoys participating in the sport. Given the grandmother's limited capacity to provide adequate support, the assessment recommended his placement in the residential program to ensure he receives proper care, access to education, and opportunities to nurture his talents in a safe and supportive environment.
