Following a comprehensive assessment conducted after the application process, Apio Faith was accepted into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Faith's parents are believed to be alive, but after they divorced, she was abandoned and neither one has shown any interest in caring for Faith. Her elderly, widowed grandmother took her in, and struggled to provide enough food and education for Faith. Due to this situation of neglect and vulnerability, Faith was considered for the residential care program so that she can access proper care, stability, and educational opportunities.
