Following a comprehensive assessment conducted after the application process, Atim Norah joined Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Norah, the second born in her family, is a partial orphan. Her father died in a road accident, and her mother is alive but bedridden due to cancer, which has caused long-term financial strain on the family. Norah was being cared for by her grandfather, who also has several dependent children, making the family situation challenging. Due to her vulnerable situation the assessment recommended Norah's placement in the residential program to ensure she receives proper care, access to education, and opportunities to nurture her talents in a safe and supportive environment.
