Following a comprehensive assessment conducted after the application process, Atim Patricia was admitted into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Patricia is a partial orphan whose father tragically died after being burnt in their home by unknown assailants. She has no siblings and following her father's death, her mother abandoned her in the care of her grandparents. The grandparents, while willing to care for her, have limited resources and face challenges in providing for her basic needs. Patricia's access to education is particularly constrained due to financial limitations, and she lacks consistent support for school fees and learning materials. Given her vulnerable situation and the inability of her current guardians to fully provide for her, Atim Patricia was assessed for support at Otino Waa, where she could receive proper care, shelter, and access to education.
