Ayantu was born in 2014. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Ayantu Bediru was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 11 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and three siblings. At school, Ayantu enjoys learning the English and Afan Oromo languages, and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up. Her mom, Meyimuna Abdella, came into the program at 40 years old with no educational background. She currently works as a daily laborer to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
