Berlando was born on September 9, 2005. He comes from a large family of four brothers and one sister, and although both his parents are alive, they are no longer together. His mother lives in a town called Meye and his father lives in the town of Croix-Des-Bouquets. Each of Berlando’s five siblings live with his mother and due to the fact that his parents are no longer together, his mother has struggled to provide for their large family.

However, with every intention of providing a better life for her son, his mother sent Berlando to live at Chanje Lakay. She wanted Berlando to have the opportunity to be raised well and in a safe environment. We were so happy to bring Berlando in and provide his mother with her one request. Berlando is smart, funny and loves to learn.
