Ayana Sufian was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 8 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and three other siblings. At school, Ayana enjoys learning Afan Oromo and he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom, Fetiya Tegabe, came into the program at 35 years old with no educational background. She currently works by washing neighbors' clothes to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
