Blessing Pendo lives with her widowed mother and two older siblings. They live in a one-room tin house with cemented floor and share a pit latrine with neighbors. They fetch water from the lake for cleaning and cooking and treat the same for drinking.

Blessing Pendo was born on July 18th, 2019. She will join CGA Pre-Primary 2 in January 2025 after attending a nursery school in her neighborhood. Blessing lives with her widowed mother and two older siblings about thirty minutes from CGA. Her mother dries and sells fish in the neighborhood to support her family. They live in a one-room tin house with cemented floor and share a pit latrine with neighbors. They fetch water from the lake for cleaning and cooking and treat the same for drinking. They use solar energy for lighting and charcoal for cooking. Blessing sleeps on a mattress spread on the floor. Her mother is excited for the chance they’ve been granted at CGA.
