Caallee Mohamed was in the fifth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2025 at the age of 7, living in Chiro with her mother, one brother, and two sisters. At the time, Caallee was enrolled in KG 1 at Nafyaad Private School. At school, she enjoys learning Afan Oromo and especially likes playing soccer with her friends. When she grows up, she hopes to become a doctor.
Caallee's mother, Zulfa Mamed, entered the program at 40 years old with no formal education. She supports her children by washing clothes for others. The family lives in a self-owned mud home that is currently in poor condition. Through PATH, Zulfa will receive business training and seed money to begin her own income generating activity and work toward improving the family's stability.
