Chaltu Mohamed was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 8 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and two siblings. At school, Chaltu enjoys learning Math and the Afan Oromo language, and she loves playing hide and seek with her friends. Her mom, Halima Yusuf, came into the program at 35 years old with no educational background. She currently relies on financial support from her relatives, but she is also trying to raise goats to bring an income for her family. She is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
