Diekilene lived as a restavek (child slave). Her mother abandoned her and her father was not able to care for her. She lived in extreme poverty and did not own shoes or decent clothing and was in need of medical and dental care. She was lucky to have one meal a day. She is from a rural area in the mountains called Laborde. There is was no school, church or hospitals in that area. Diekilene is an independent little girl, no doubt that trait is attributed from her previous lifestyle. She can be a little shy at times but is always a pleasure to be around.

GETTING STARTED:

Each child needs $400 per month to provide their basic needs.

Family Tree Sponsorship -

This sponsorship is divided into (8) $50 increments allowing multiple sponsors per child

Full sponsorship - 

A donation of $400 per month will completely fund your sponsored child’s basic needs.
