Ellah Saina and her single mother live with the mother’s late guardian’s family in a house by the lake. They use firewood and charcoal for cooking and electricity for lighting. Ellah sleeps on a mattress under a mosquito net.

Ellah Saina was born on September 1st, 2020. She will join Pre-Primary 1 in January 2025. She lives with her single mother about fifteen minutes’ walk from CGA. She was born while the mother was a university student, and the father is not known. Ellah’s mother is a CGA alumna who was recruited by CGA as an orphan but unfortunately lost her guardian in 2023. She hasn’t finished her university degree and currently depends on the children of her late guardian for support. She and Ellah live with her late guardian’s family in a permanent house by the lake. They use firewood and charcoal for cooking and electricity for lighting. Ellah sleeps on a bed and mattress under a Mosquito net. The mother is so excited to have her daughter join CGA.
