Emmanuel Day was born on January 5, 2020. He joined the C.G.A. Nursery class in January 2025. He lives with both parents in a two-bedroom tin house located about a 45-minute walk from the school. His father is a teacher at C.G.A., while his mother sells fish to help support the family. Emmanuel is the youngest in a family of four children. He has one older brother and two sisters—one of whom attends C.G.A. in Junior Secondary (Grade 9), while the other two are in high school. The family uses electricity and solar power for lighting, fetches water from the lake for domestic use, and treats some for drinking. They cook using charcoal or firewood. In addition to his teaching role, Emmanuel’s father also serves as an assistant pastor at their church. Emmanuel is a strong, enthusiastic boy who is eager to learn and thrilled to be part of C.G.A.
