Faamii was born in 2014. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Faamii Jemal was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. He was 10 years old when he joined PATH, and he is the youngest of 5 children, living with his 3 older sisters and 1 older brother. Faamii enjoys studying the Afan Oromo Language in school, and he loves to play soccer with his friends. His mother, Mekiya Abduraham, came into the program at 40 with no former education. She washes clothes for a living, but when she receives PATH's business training, she hopes to open a breakfast stand.
