Fati Abdulatif was in the fifth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2025 at the age of 10, living in Chiro with his mother, one brother, and one sister. At the time, Fati was enrolled in Grade 2 at Much Ahmed Muche School. At school, he enjoys learning English and especially likes playing soccer with his friends. When he grows up, Fati hopes to become an engineer.
Fati's mother, Feyza Ahmed, entered the program at 27 years old with an elementary education. She receives occasional support from family members living in a rural area and is involved in small-scale vegetable production. The family lives in a rented government mud house that is currently in deteriorated condition. Through PATH, Feyza will receive business training and seed money to strengthen her vegetable production activity and work toward greater stability for her children.
