Ferhan was born in 2012. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Ferhan Abdurahman was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. He was 10 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his younger brother. When he is at school, Ferhan enjoys studying science, and at home, he loves running around with his friends. His mother, Chaltu Badiru, came into the program at 35 with no former education. She currently washes clothes for a living, but when she receives business training from PATH, she hopes to open a food stand.
