Fira was born in 2017. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Fira Abdissa was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. He was 7 years old when he joined PATH, and he has never gone to school before due to financial challenges. Fira is excited to learn all he can at school, and he loves to play soccer with his friends. His mother, Fere Belete, came into the program at 27 with no former education. She washes clothes for a living, but when she receives business training from PATH, she hopes to open a food stand and also sell coffee.
