Following a comprehensive assessment conducted after the application process, Alaa Haron joined Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Haron is the youngest in a family of three children. His mother passed away during childbirth, leaving the father as the sole caregiver. Unfortunately, the father was later struck by a speeding vehicle, an accident that left him physically weak and unable to effectively engage in manual work to support the family. As a result, the family sank deeper into poverty, and the children lacked basic necessities, often went hungry and didn't go to school. Considering these circumstances, Haron was identified as a vulnerable child in need of assistance and was therefore enrolled in the residential program so that he can receive proper care, stability, and access to education.
