Iyosias was born in 2014. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Iyosias Asfaw was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 10 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother. At school, Iyosias enjoys learning Math and Amharic, and he hopes to be a pilot when he grows up. His mom, Mesay Fiqre, came into the program at 39 years old with only a high school education. She currently relies on financial support from her relatives, but she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
