Halima Mohamed was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 9 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and six siblings. At school, Halima enjoys learning the Afan Oromo language and she hopes to be an engineer when she grows up. Her mom, Shukuri Abrahim, came into the program at 35 years old with no educational background. She currently works by selling tea and and biscuits at a small stall to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
