Kalid was born in 2013. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Kalid Aliye was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. He was 11 years old when he joined PATH, and he has 5 older siblings (3 bothers and 2 sisters) and one younger brother. Kalid enjoys ethics class at school, and he hopes to become a pilot when he grows up. His mother, Mako Abdurazaq, came into the program at 40 years old with no education. She is excited to receive business training from PATH in order to improve her business knowledge and ability to raise and sell livestock.
