Kalkidan was born in 2015. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Kalkidan Yesuneh was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. She was 8 years old with she joined PATH, and she lives with her younger brother and her mother. Kalkidan enjoys studying English in school, and at home she loves to play a traditional jump rope game. Her mother, Chaltu Amin, came into the program at 33 with a 3rd grade education. Chaltu hopes to begin a personal income generating activity of raising and selling livestock after receiving business training from PATH.
