Following a comprehensive assessment conducted after the application process, Komagum Joshua Christian joined Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Joshua is an adopted child who was originally found abandoned by the roadside shortly after birth and placed in an orphanage. He was later adopted by a compassionate guardian, who, due to losing their job, became unable to fully care for Joshua and another adopted child. With no known information about his biological parents, Joshua's situation left him highly vulnerable. Considering the caregiver's limited capacity and the need to ensure consistent care, education, and well-being, Joshua was accepted into Otino Waa where he now has security, safety, education and hope for the future.
