Laban joined the faculty at Mweruka Junior School in 2018. He teaches English to 5th, 6th, 7th grades. He has received several school awards and is a special merit teacher at the school.

“I am Laban Nuwagaba, a teacher of English in upper primary classes. I am the school’s Director of studies. I also work as head of school’s nutrition committee. Together with fellow teachers, we work as a team to uplift the academic standard of learners. We are very pleased with the success of our students. As the teaching staff, we are looking forward to achieving the best results academically. English is the official language here in Uganda. I am very happy with the way the students are steadily improving their communication skills. They can now chat, debate and carry out discussion in English language.”  Laban Nuwagaba
