Husefa was born in 2015. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Husefa Abdi was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 9 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his grandmother and one sibling. At school, Husefa enjoys learning science and social studies, and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. His grandmother, Hawa Kamil, came into the program at 45 years old with only an elementary education. She is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
