Mahilet was born in 2012. She joined the Path International Community Based Care Program in 2022.

Mahilet Abeyot was in the second group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2022. She born in 2012, and she lives with her mother. Mahilet loves playing jump rope with her friends, and her favorite subject in school is the Amharic language. When she grows up, Mahilet wants to become a nurse. Mahilet has been selected to attend Nafyaad Private School. In addition to receiving educational support, her mother is going to receive business training and seed money to begin her own income generating activity.
