Maxwell Ochieng was born on May 20, 2017. He joined CGA Grade Three in 2026. He lives with a relative, about a thirty-minute walk from CGA. His mother passed away in early 2022, leaving him and his siblings under the care of their father. Due to the challenges of caregiving, his father later placed Maxwell under the care of his current guardian. They live in a tin-sided house in the rural part of Mbita. The household has no running water and fetches water from the lake for cleaning and cooking. They have both electricity and solar lighting. Maxwell sleeps on a bed and mattress under a mosquito net.
