Like many little boys around the world, Mikeslens is full of energy and loves playing soccer. But unlike most children his age, he doesn’t have the same opportunities to learn and grow. Living in the small, impoverished community of Marotte along Haiti’s western coast, Mikeslens shares a humble home with his mom, dad, two sisters, and one brother. Despite his bright spirit, poverty weighs heavily on his family. Through sponsorship, Mikeslens can step into new opportunities—attending school each day, enjoying nourishing lunches, and receiving essential medical care. For a boy growing up in poverty, this support is nothing short of a blessing.
