Nardos was born in 2013. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Nardos Chala was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. She was 11 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her older sister and younger brother. At school, Nardos enjoys studying the Amharic language, and she hopes to become a doctor when she grows up. Her mother, Meseret Shawel, came into the program at 37 years old with only a 4th grade education. She currently washes clothes to support her family, and she is excited to receive business training from PATH in order to improve her business knowledge and start a new job making and selling injera.
