Ejang Naume was admitted into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Naume is the youngest in a family of four children and is a partial orphan. She lived with her mother, who depends mainly on small-scale farming as the primary source of livelihood. However, the income generated from farming has been insufficient to adequately support the family and consistently meet the children's educational expenses and nutritional needs As a result, Naume has faced challenges in continuing her schooling due to difficulties in paying school fees. Naume came to Otino Waa and was eager to start school and begin learning. She is also enjoying having three meals a day.
