Nelson came to the Freedom House very quiet and shy. He has grown so much in so many ways since his arrival. He is a thriving young boy with so much potential ahead of him!
About this Sponsorship
Nelson’s family abandoned him. They left him in a room alone, where he sat for days. When locals found him, they took him to his uncle, but he could not care for him. He lived with a family that practiced voodoo and mistreated him. When he did eat, he got scraps from the table. He had never been to school or seen a doctor. He is from a rural area called Laborde. Nelson did not know how to smile when he was rescued. He now has a safe place to live at the Freedom House and is always smiling.
As part of our sponsorship family, you can help love, feed, and care for these precious children.
GETTING STARTED:
Each child needs $200 per month to provide their basic needs.
Family Tree Sponsorship -
This sponsorship is divided into (4) $50 increments allowing multiple sponsors per child
Full sponsorship -
A donation of $200 per month will completely fund your sponsored child’s basic needs.
