Over the past two years, Nephtalie and her family have endured unimaginable hardship as gang violence tore through their community. Twice, armed attacks forced them to flee their home, until they finally found refuge in Luly—a small fishing village along Haiti’s western coast. While Luly offers greater safety, daily life is still marked by deep poverty, making it difficult for Nephtalie and her mother to rebuild what was lost.
