Obsa was born in 2011. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Obsa Amme was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 13 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and one sibling. At school, Obsa enjoys all the subjects, and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom, Maftuha Hassane, came into the program at 37 years old with an elementary education. She currently works as a maid washing clothes to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
